A Little Contribution

Dear son,

Since last few years I am not feeling well. I have consulted so many doctors but all are giving same reason for my health. And I have constantly told you about it. There is some viral attack and they have entered my blood so badly that they are obstructing me to grow more. You know which they are. But still, to remind you those viruses are poverty, corruption, crime, violence and so many other factors which are not so good for my health. I need not to list out all the diseases as you will be hurt to know that you are also responsible for some of them. And people spreading such diseases are omnipresent so it’s not in my hand to stop or control them now.

When I see around I find thousands of preventable deaths that occur every day from hunger and poverty-related diseases in my lap. And my lap is not enough humble to endure the burden of these much blood.

And the care taker you have assigned for me is Untrustworthy, Corrupted, and Dishonest. For your information, he is not taking any short of care of mine and only inducing the awful things around me. Please save me from such demons.

An all time favorite dialogue from one of my favorite movies, Rang De Basanti, “koi bhi desh perfect nahi hota, use perfect banana padta hai”. We all think that what will be changed if only I will change some habit that can be hygienic to nation? We think that if they are not changing their selves why should I? And we find the excuse to have a delight occasion to betray our country for a small ease of getting things done by using any dangerous weapon like corruption. One another line from movie “halla bol”, “agar aaj tum apne padosi pe julm hote hue dekh rahe ho, aur kuchh nahi kar rahe ho, to taiyar rehna, agli baari tumhari hai..” that means if your neighbor is being beaten by some ruffian and you are just watching and doing nothing then be ready, because its your turn now. Please do whatever you can if you go through such situation.

Our people are waiting for Lord Krishna to rebirth on the earth and annihilate all sins. But look inside once, it’s a feeling that is named as lord Krishna. Just imagine if every person of our nation thinks like the way of having lord Krishna in him what can be the picture of our country.Nation do not expect every one to be like perfect one, that needs it, but we can contribute little to it in any way you like. Just for example, never give bribe to traffic police. Because I think it’s the most illogical and idiotic thing you are doing. You give him bribe because you have not worn a helmet that means” you are giving him money for not keeping your self safe?” This was just an example; there are so many ways by which you can help the nation. So give your Little Contribution to our gorgeous nation “INDIA”.

Dear maa,

Whether your other sons are with you or not, I am and will always with you to protect you from such demons. I am not promising to fight like your some brave sons like soldiers fighting for your honor at border but I promise not to be corrupted for anything in life and give my little contribution for making you happy. Because I know if I fail to make you happy, I will never be the same. Jai Hind
